Alexandra Coman was born in Bucharest, studied for two years at the University of Music in Vienna in the class of Professor Helga Wagner and graduated from the National University of Music in Bucharest, in the class of Professor Maria Hurduc.

She took the bachelor's exam with the role of "Magda" from the opera "La rondine" by Giacomo Puccini under the baton of master Constantin Petrovici. The show was an absolute national premiere.

Alexandra Coman studied during high school with the great teacher Arta Florescu. During university and after graduation, she took master courses with Luciano Pavarotti and Katia Ricciarelli.

She debuted with the role of "Hanna" in the operetta "Die Lustige Witwe" (The Merry Widow) at the Ion Dacian Operetta Theater, a role she also sang at the Craiova Romanian Opera and the Los Angeles Opera.

Another role frequently sung by soprano Alexandra Coman is the role of "Mimi" in the opera "La boheme" by Giacomo Puccini, a role sung at the Romanian Opera Bucharest, the Romanian Opera Craiova, the Wichita Opera and the Washington Opera.
